Fat Straws Bubble Tea Co. will open June 1 at 1251 W. Campbell Road, Ste. 230, Richardson. The business is known for its bubble tea made with fresh, flavored tapioca pearls in-house as well as mochi doughnuts, classic teas, fruit smoothies, slushies and milkshakes. This will be the business’s biggest location because of the on-site commercial kitchen, where mochi doughnuts will be made daily for branches companywide.
On the day of the grand opening, the business will celebrate by offering the first 100 customers in line prize envelopes, which could include free drink cards, free doughnut cards, reusable straws, T-shirts or gift cards. The first 200 people will be entered into a raffle to win one free Fat Straws drink per week over the course of one year. Hours for the grand opening celebration are noon to 10 p.m.
