About Fat Straws:

Fat Straws was founded by Terry and Jenn Pham, a husband and wife team, in 2002, pioneering the bubble tea scene in the DFW area. At that time, bubble tea was not yet a mainstream beverage in the country. Jenn, originally from South Korea, immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 10, while Terry, born in Arkansas, had experienced life in a refugee camp before finding a new home in Dallas with the help of compassionate strangers.

Their union not only resulted in marriage but also gave birth to their first baby: Fat Straws in Plano, TX! Combining their backgrounds and experiences, they created a unique blend of boba and mochi donuts, introducing Texans to Mochi Donuts for the first time in 2018.

Their diverse menu caters to a wide range of tastes, featuring Fruit Smoothies, Protein Smoothies, Mango Chamoyadas, Fruit Teas, Milk Teas, and, of course, their signature Mochi Donuts. Constantly innovating, Fat Straws regularly introduces new boba drinks and mochi donut flavors, ensuring a fresh and exciting culinary experience for all.

Today, Fat Straws has expanded beyond its Plano roots, with locations in Dallas, Arlington, and Richardson, offering their distinctive fusion treats to an ever-growing audience.
